Who we are on the pickleball court is who we are in life.

Are we frustrated? Disappointed? More concerned about winning than being aligned with our values? Not reaching our full potential? Are we getting everything we want out of life and building connections? Peak Pickleball believes that we all need a little coaching occasionally — whether to improve our pickleball game or to get what we want out of life.

Hi, I’m Cap, a certified positive psychology coach and certified pickleball instructor. After decades spent in the corporate world, I retired . . . but didn’t stopped working.

During my career, the thing that was too common - and always disappointing - was coming across people who didn’t live in alignment with their values or their purpose. They were unhappy, but didn’t know it was this misalignment, not the job itself that made them unfulfilled. I decided that in retirement, I would dedicate myself to figuring out a way to help people live happier, more meaningful lives.

During COVID, I discovered pickleball and realized that part of what people were missing in their lives was connection and community. Pickleball represented for me a way of helping people belong; a way for them to stay healthier; and (amazingly) a way for them to contribute to the greater community around us through charitable work and gifts.

Peak Pickleball is the culmination of the work I’ve done in life coaching, business mentorship, leadership development and pickleball instruction.

Let me know how I can help — whether that is finding alignment between action and intent, getting better on court, or donating money through a pickleball fundraiser.

Peak Pickleball is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All money donated through my coaching work goes to support local food banks, except that which is used for expenses (e.g., balls used in training).
